Informational TalkProgram Description
Program Description
Join Ezra Rich, professional chef and experimenter of all things fermented.
Families with children are welcome too! For the first hour, the kids will be in the picture book area, learning about fermentation at a kid level and doing some fun experiments. The adults will be learning with Chef Ezra in the program room. For the last half an hour, we'll come together in the program room to taste some amazing fermented creations, traditional and cutting edge.
Adults will learn the basics of fermentation and how eating fermented foods can help with your gut health and microbiome (we'll probably learn what those things are too). We'll get to know specific fermented foods -- kimchi, sourdough, kombucha, and more!
PLEASE REGISTER EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER OF YOUR GROUP. Thanks!
Thanks to Charlotte Levis & Melissa Greene for helping get this program into our library!
