All major faith traditions have a meditation practice - Sufi mystics, Buddhists, ancient Christians. Mindfulness can build patience, resilience, and inner peace in a chaotic world. Can you imagine, instead of wading upstream or getting rushed downstream, simply lying down and letting the water roll around and over you?
Melissa will teach you the essentials of starting a meditative practice in an approachable way, including environment, postures, breathing (there's more to it than you think!), and how to make meditating doable and sustainable.
