July's Spice of the Month is Hing Powder.   Don't be put off by the smell this spice gives off in its raw form.  When added to sizzling hot oil, it brings the umami and the garlic and the onion.

Join Chad Gore, local entomologist, to learn about bugs in our area while enjoying a nature hike throughout the Arboretum! We recommend wearing bug spray or long pants and comfortable walking shoes.
